Crimea is indeed a beautiful land. Making my
researches on ancient historical monuments of Crimea scattered in
unbelievable landscapes I often wish I could share this vision
with others. I am historian writer and the non-fiction genre of my
writings leaves no space for flamboyant nature descriptions.
Furthermore, many of the things I'd show to others barely could be
described by words at all: how could one capture by means of paper
and ink the elusive Genius Loci, the Spirit of Place?
Thus, the writer is mastering now a new creativity tool: the
photography.
My favorite subjects are historical monuments, landscapes and
nature of West and South West Crimea.
I am lucky to reside in a place where three different worlds - The
Plains, The Mountains and The Sea - lay at equal distances from my
house, so an expedition to each of them takes no longer than 20
minutes of slow drive. |
